Overview

Scoopify gives every business a fully branded customer portal where your customers can manage their own service — no phone calls needed.

From the portal, customers can view upcoming and past visits, see their billing details, update their payment method through Stripe, and even cancel their service. In this tutorial, we'll walk through how to invite a customer and everything they'll see once they're in.

Sending a Portal Invite

To invite a customer to the portal, navigate to Properties from your dashboard and select the property you want to invite.

On the property detail page, you'll see a Send Portal Invite button. Click it and you'll get a confirmation that the invite was sent.

The Invite Email

Your customer will receive a branded email personalized with their name and your business logo. The email includes a Set Up Your Account button that takes them to the portal setup page.

Account Setup & Login

When the customer clicks the setup link, they'll be taken to a page where they create their password. Once their account is created, they're redirected to your business's branded login page.

From here, they just enter their email and password to access their portal anytime.

Portal Homepage

Once logged in, the customer lands on their portal homepage. Here they can see their service plan, monthly price, any upcoming visits, and a summary of recent visits — all at a glance.

Visits Tab

The Visits tab gives your customer a full history of all their visits. Each visit shows the date, status, and any relevant details.

Customers can filter visits by status — completed, cancelled, skipped, and more — so they always know exactly what happened and when.

Billing Tab

The Billing tab shows the customer their current service plan, monthly price, number of dogs on the plan, and their service day. This keeps everything transparent so there are no surprises.

Managing Payment Methods

From the billing tab, clicking Manage Payment Method opens a branded Stripe portal customized with your business logo, name, and colors.

From here, customers can add or update their payment method, view their invoice history, and even cancel their subscription — and it all syncs back to your dashboard automatically.

Changes Sync Automatically

When a customer updates their card or cancels through the Stripe portal, it updates on your end in real-time. No manual work required.

Settings Tab

In the Settings tab, customers can update their name, phone number, and service address if anything changes. They can also cancel their service directly from here.

Keep It Simple

The customer portal is intentionally streamlined — visits, billing, payment management, and settings. If you have ideas for features your customers would love, hit the Feedback tab in your dashboard and let us know!
