Your Free Landing Page

When you sign up for Scoopify, a landing page is automatically created for your business. If you are just starting out and don't want to deal with website building, hosting, or any of the technical stuff — you don't have to. Scoopify provisions a URL that you can send to customers where they can sign up online.

To manage your landing page, head to Settings → Website.

Navigate to Settings → Website to manage your landing page.

Landing Page Settings

The Website tab gives you a few quick options before jumping into the full editor. You can decide whether to list your business on Scoopify's directory, and you can choose a landing page style — this updates automatically so that any visitor who lands on your page sees the style you selected.

There is also a Legal section where you can set your Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Scoopify dynamically inserts your business details into both documents to keep you compliant out of the box.

You can edit them if you want — we support markdown formatting — but if you ever change something incorrectly, just hit the Reset to Default button to restore the original templates.

You don't need to touch the legal documents unless you have specific requirements. The defaults are designed to keep you compliant.

The Website Builder

Click into the website builder to see a live preview of your landing page. When you hover over a section, you'll see a label in the top-right corner telling you which section you're looking at. Click on any editable section to open its editor.

At the top of the builder you'll also find your SEO description and a field to insert your Google Analytics ID. Adding your Analytics ID lets you track sessions, visitors, and where your traffic is coming from.

Editing the Hero Section

The hero section is the first thing visitors see. You can edit the headline, subheadline, button text, and the hero image.

The button text you set here applies to every call-to-action button on your site except for the "Get Quote" button next to the zip code input. So keep it general — something like "Free Quote Here" works great.

The CTA button text is shared across most buttons on your landing page. Keep it short and action-oriented.

Editing the Why Choose Us Section

Scroll down to the Why Choose Us section. Here you can edit the description text and choose an image. You can either pick from the gallery or check Use your logo to display your business logo instead of a stock photo.

In the footer editor, you can set a tagline and add your social media links — Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc. Only the platforms that have a URL filled in will show their icon on the live site. Leave a field blank and that logo disappears.

Publishing Your Changes

Once you're happy with your edits, hit the Publish button at the top to save everything. Then click View Live to see your landing page exactly as your customers will see it. All changes are instant — as soon as the page loads, visitors see the latest version.

Connecting a Custom Domain

Back in Settings → Website, you'll see the Custom Domain section. Enter your domain name and Scoopify will show a Pending DNS verification status along with two DNS records you need to add:

1. An A record pointing to an IP address 2. A CNAME record for www pointing to a target hostname

DNS verification with Scoopify is lightning fast — usually seconds, not the typical 10 minutes to 48 hours you might be used to.

Adding DNS Records in Namecheap

If your domain is on Namecheap, here's how to add the records:

1. Log in to Namecheap and go to your Dashboard 2. Find the domain you want to connect and click Manage 3. Go to the Advanced DNS tab 4. Under Host Records, click Add New Record

Adding the A Record

Add a new record with type A Record. Set the host to @ and paste the IP address from Scoopify into the value field. Click the checkmark to save.

Adding the CNAME Record

Add one more record with type CNAME Record. Set the host to www and paste the target hostname from Scoopify into the value field. Click the checkmark to save. This ensures that visitors who type www.yourdomain.com also land on your page.

Verifying Your Domain

Head back to Scoopify and click the Check DNS Verification button. If your records are set up correctly, the status will change to Domain Verified and your landing page is now live on your custom domain.

Your custom domain works exactly the same as the free Scoopify URL — same quote flow, same data, same everything. Customers just see your brand.

What's Next

We're actively building out more website editing features to make the builder even more powerful. For now, it's a single-page landing page designed to drive customers to get a quote with minimal distractions — and it works great for that.
